Often it is part of a forestry access road, but you basically never get any cars. This was an awesome plantation, lots of fungi.

Very nice long drop loo in the distance. I am glad I moved the bike in later as that night some local yobs came by in a ute blasting away with shotguns at who knows what.

The Mersey, where you cross to continue the trail on the other side. Shallow at first then nearly knee deep, almost swept me and the bloody bike over. Nice and steep on the other side too.

This takes the water about 8km to the Great Lake, and its dead flat riding along the access road next to it, and no cars cause its restricted (unless your a Tassie Trail rider of course).
